Q: Where does the name Tecado come from?
A: The name "Tecado" is a neologism created by putting together contractions of TEChnology and ADOption.
It also just happens to be an obscure Brazilian Portuguese word which means "to hit the target". We decided that this happy coincidence (together with the fact that the domain names and trademarks were all available) made it a perfect name for our new venture.
We think it sounds best when pronounced: tek · AH · doe.
Q: Are Tecado.com, Tecado.net, and Tecado.org related?
A: All three sites are owned by Tecado, Inc.
